ABOUT ME

As an associate Professor, member of Youth Innovation Promotion Association Chinese Academy of Sciences, Young Scholars of Western China (Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS), I currently am doing environmental and geological research at the Institute of Earth Environment Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS).

I gained my Ph.D. in radiochemistry at Technical University of Denmark in 2015. My research interests mainly focus on methodology development of long-lived radionuclides in environmental medium, environmental process tracing applications of long-lived radionuclides in marine, terrestrial and atmospheric systems with 12 years expertise and experience.

I have been responsible for seven research projects and participated in over 20 scientific projects funded by CAS, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People´s Republic of China, etc, published 50 papers (14 of them as the first author) in peer-reviewed journals, reviewing four peer-reviewed journals, and co-supervised three master students and one guest bachelor student.

I was awarded the Second prize of Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province with our team members in 2018 (rank 3), and Idella scholarship of Technical University of Denmark in 2013.

Now I’m very glad to be involved in IGCP 732 project for the Anthropocene study. It is a great opportunity to combine geology, environmental science, radiochemistry and nuclear science together to define and illustrate the Anthropocene concept and its profound impacts from multi-disciplinary angle.
